To celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, the Burger King Foundation is recognizing the incredible impact teachers have on their students and communities.As part of this initiative, we are awarding $20,000 in grants to outstanding public-school teachers in the Philadelphia Metro Area.

Community members, students, parents, and colleagues are invited to nominate a teacher who goes above and beyond to inspire and support their students.

Whether they create innovative lessons, support students outside the classroom, or make their school a better place every day, we want to celebrate the teachers who make a difference.

Evening Event | Tuesday, October 29 | 7:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

Get your groove on during the Foundation’s biggest fundraising night of the year! During this year's 70's theme disco gala, with a special performance from pop legend Taylor Dayne, you'll enjoy delicious cocktails and a three-course dinner, exciting entertainment and have the opportunity to bid on exclusive experiences, trips and equipment packages. The best part? All funds raised will support the Foundation’s programs. It’s a night you won’t want to miss! Attire: Disco glam with a formal twist! Think classic 70's disco - sequins, bold colors and fun patterns.

Golf Classic | Wednesday, October 30 | 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Burger King Franchisees, vendor partners and leadership will gather for a morning of friendly golf competition. Take in the luscious greenery as you enjoy 18 holes on the Arroyo Golf Club. Following the tournament, you’ll gather for an awards lunch to crown the top foursome.

Silent Auction | Monday, October 28 - Thursday, October 30

Stop by the Foundation’s tradeshow booth to place your bid on one of our great auction items! The silent auction will feature BK® restaurant equipment, sports packages and memorabilia, unique VIP experiences, electronics, and more.
