To celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, the Burger King Foundation is recognizing the incredible impact teachers have on their students and communities.As part of this initiative, we are awarding $20,000 in grants to outstanding public-school teachers in the Philadelphia Metro Area.
Community members, students, parents, and colleagues are invited to nominate a teacher who goes above and beyond to inspire and support their students.
Whether they create innovative lessons, support students outside the classroom, or make their school a better place every day, we want to celebrate the teachers who make a difference.

The Jim McLamore Golf Invitational (JMGI) spans over three days from June 22-24 in New Jersey and was created to honor the legacy of our co-founder, Jim McLamore. This exclusive event features two full days of golfing at Galloway National Golf Course or a relaxing spa day at the Borgata Hotel and Casino, two signature dinners, and networking opportunities for our Burger King Franchisees, vendors, and friends. The proceeds of JMGI directly benefit the BK℠ Scholars program.
Itinerary:
Monday, June 22nd - Cocktail reception at 5:00 PM followed by a steak dinner at the Homestead at 6:00 PM.
Tuesday, June 23rd - Brunch at Galloway National at 10:30 AM followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 PM. Dinner and awards following golf. *Spa Day available for those who don’t wish to play golf.
Wednesday, June 24th - Breakfast at 7:00 AM followed by a Shotgun start at 8:30 AM. Following lunch and an awards ceremony. The day will be wrap up around 2 PM.
Note: If golf club rentals are needed please pre purchase to reserve your golf clubs.
