We’ve impacted the lives of nearly 240,000 children to date through our partnership with Room to Read. These students from South Africa, Zambia, Tanzania, Cambodia and India, now have access to more than 200 libraries, schools and literacy programs as well as three children’s books because of our support.
In 2012, we partnered with Room to Read – an international organization dedicated to literacy and gender equality – to bring sustainable learning environments to children across Africa and South Asia. Since then, we’ve funded over 200 projects including libraries, schools, literacy programs, and local language children’s books in South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Cambodia, India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, impacting nearly 240,000 children and families.
